Utah Holiday

The 24th of July is called "Pioneer Day" here in Utah and is celebrated as a holiday.  It was the day the Mormon Pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley in 1847.  Lot's of businesses are closed and there are always fireworks.  The first year we lived here I couldn't figure out what all the fireworks and celebration was about.  It's bigger than the 4th of July.  We went over to Kim Jameson's and swam all afternoon with Ryan, Teisha, Tianna, Jayden, Jayson, and me and then we went to Costco and bought steaks.  We barbecued,  Dustin and Eric came to eat,  and I made homemade Ice Cream.  It was a really fun day.
