We arrived in Cancun at 4 a.m. Saturday morning after a long night of flying from Las Vegas to Mexico City, a 3 hour lay over and into Cancun. When we got to Cancun we found a taxi and it was about a 20 minute drive to our resort from the airport. We didn't stay on the main hotel strip where it was crazy because of spring break. We stayed clear out in a resort that was by it's self and it was really beautiful and private. The beach wasn't quite as pretty and clean as downtown, but it was nice being away from all the craziness and we had our own restaurants to choose from.

The beach had a lot of seaweed and the water wasn't as clear right
in front of our resort, but I love the beach and the ocean no
matter what and I was able to see other areas where it was
so clean and gorgeous. Our resort was beautiful and I
was just happy to be in paradise! |
