Homecoming Dance

It's crazy that Jayden is a Senior and this is the first time he has asked a girl to homecoming.  He asked Anna Thibault.  She is a Junior.  I guess all his friends asked Junior girls and the Junior boys asked the Senior girls.  Jayden and 11 of his friends did their day date and night together, so there were a total of 24 kids.  They all went up to Pine Valley Mountain to Jayden's friend Cooper's cabin and hung out all afternoon.  They roasted marshmallows and hot dogs for the girls.  They all came home and got changed and headed out to snow canyon for pictures.  Garrett's mom takes picture's. She took some great shots of all the kids.  Then they went to Cooper's for a dinner outside on his back patio by the pool.  A bunch of us mom's planned the meal.  I provided sparkling cider and Hawaiian Grill macaroni salad.  Someone brought rice and cookies and brownies and Cooper's dad made teriyaki chicken.  A bunch of mom's decorated and Jayden said it was really nice.  After dinner the kids headed out to Sand Hollow to the dance on the driving range.  They didn't stay at the dance long and all went over to Zac's house to swim, eat, and watch a movie.  It sounds like they all had a really good time.  Nothing like my homecoming's.  All we did was went to the dance because there really wasn't much to do in Lovell.  We usually went to my house after and watched a movie and it was just me and Jayson.
Jayden was proud.  He got to drive his
dad's big lifted pickup.
