I'm so proud of Teisha and her hard work and dedication. Right out of high school she moved into an apartment with 3 other girls, 2 that she didn't know. She worked 12 hour night shifts at the hospital as a CNA and went to college. Teisha moved back with us after the first year of college for a year, but was very independent. She got married, supported her and her husband and after 3 years got her associates degree from Dixie State College. Right after graduating in May she started Cosmetology school at Hairitage Hair Academy in July. She has been going for 20 months while working between 25 and 40 hours a week at Biolife as a phlebotomist. She started that job about 15 months ago because the night shifts were too hard with all day school. Yesterday she graduated and I couldn't be more proud of her accomplishments and hard work. She is even talking about going back to school to get her bachelors degree. I got up early yesterday and drove to her hair school to decorate her hair station before she got there and instead of taking a cake I took cinnamon rolls because thats what she loves. They don't have a big graduation ceremony because they graduate on hours so no one else was graduating. We went for pictures and to show support. Sure love my girl!
