Maui

Today when we woke up our ship was ported in Maui.  I was so excited to check out this island.  We rented a car and drove to Hana on the East shore of Maui.  The legendary road to Hana is 52 miles with 620 curves and 59 one lane bridges, but what a beautiful drive.  It took half the day to drive the east side and then we drove to the west side of Maui called Lahaina.  It's where all the beach resorts are and shopping and restaurants.  There was a lot of traffic going to Lahaina and only a two lane highway.   Maui is very beautiful.  We returned our rental car and shuttled back to the ship to eat and watch a movie.  I am happy we get to spend more time in Maui tomorrow.
I love how untouched so many areas are.

I wish my backyard could look this green.

It rained off and on so I'm sporting the wet look.

One of the many cures on the road to Hana
and a waterfall.
