I love to go see places and vacation and the older I get the more I want to go explore because I realize there is a whole big world with lots of interesting people and places and having grown up in a tiny town we didn't get out much and I kind of feel like I missed out on some things. I especially want my kids and Jayson to see things. Jayson never went anywhere as a kid and our kids have actually done quite a bit. I went to San Fransisco when I was 14 with my family and have alway remembered that it was a fun trip. I decided Jayson and Jayden needed to see it and I wanted to go back so I booked us a fun filled trip. We flew out of Vegas last Wednesday and the flight is only an hour and thirty minutes, so it wasn't bad at all and since we gained an hour we were there by 12:45. Our first day we spent getting to our hotel in downtown Union Square, eating and then taking a taxi to AT&T Park to watch the San Fransisco Giants play baseball against the Colorado Rockies. The wind always blows off the ocean and the temperature was only around 63 degrees, plus you have humidity. So of course I was cold because I came from warm, 105 degree St. George. I bought a stocking hat and wore it everyday all day except the last day and never took my coat off. I loved the baseball park and they had the best variety of food I have seen yet at an MLB or NBA game. I loved that the field was right on the ocean and there were boats and seagulls right there. I have always loved the ocean. I have always dreamed of living by it and surfing and spending my days on the beach and my nights holding hands walking down the sand and my mornings jogging along side the ocean. I know it's weird growing up in Wyoming, but I'm not much of a country girl. I spent a summer in southern California when I was 14 and it was the best summer of my life. I loved everything about it.
