Last Day Of The Cruise

I woke up this morning feeling mixed emotions.  I absolutely love Hawaii and wish we could stay a few months out of each year, but on the other hand I am ready to sleep in my own bed and eat home cooking and see my kids.   I also haven't felt real good at night because I didn't get the patch for motion sickness.  I thought we would only be sailing at night and wasn't thinking that we actually set sail by 6. I was pretty sick most nights and that wasn't fun.  The waters around the Hawaiian Islands are pretty rough and even Jayson wasn't too fond of all the movement at night.

We walked over to where our rental car was parked and since this is our last day on Kauai we decided to drive to Waimea Canyon.  It was gorgeous with huge waterfalls.  There were lots of helicopters flying through the canyon taking people on tours.  It was definitely hard to leave this gorgeous island.

We had to be back on the ship by 1 today so we could set sail for Oahu.  I spent the afternoon reading and laying out.  We had a nice dinner and the captain stopped by the Na Pali Coast on the other side of Kauai.  So while we were eating dinner we were able to just sit and look at that beautiful coast.  We sure had a good time and made lots of memories.

I always forgot to take my sexy motion sickness wrist
bands off when we got off the ship.  Lol
