Week Full Of Selling Things

When Dustin left a couple of weeks ago he needed his dirt bike sold, his Subaru that he drove for his Vivint job, and he had a dresser, tv stand, and couch to get rid of.  All of these things were in our garage and I hate clutter, so last week I started advertising everything.  Jayson did Craigslist adds and I used Facebook.  Jayson sold the dirt bike to a guy from Tucson, Arizona.  The guy made the deal over the phone yesterday and was on his way and here at about 10 last night to pick it up.  I had forgotten that it was actually in my name.  The deal was if Jayson moved down here to St. George (it was my idea to move here, so I had to bargain with him), he would get a brand new dirt bike.  So, one of the first things we did when we got here was go buy a brand new Honda CRF.  Jayson didn't ride it much and when Dustin got home from his mission we gave it to him.  He has loved that bike and put a lot of money into it and taken really good care of it.  It was super hard for him to sell it and Jayson was even sad to see it go.  The sad thing is you never get out what you have put into things, but sometimes you just need money and have to let them go.  I sold the car yesterday to a girl that used to live in our neighborhood.  The subaru is a stick shift and I have not driven a stick in about 6 or 7 years, so it was interesting taking her for a test drive and driving clear over to La Verkin so her mechanic could check it out.  She doesn't know how to drive a stick, so she will have to learn.  I didn't do to bad.  I only killed it twice.  lol  My dad taught me to drive on the hardest stick shift ever with no power steering, but the good things is, I can drive just about anything because of it.  I also sold the dresser and the rest of the stuff went to Desert Industries.  It is nice to have it all out of the garage.
Bye, bye Subaru.
