Weekend in Springdale & Zion National Park

My brother Shane and his family wanted to come to Zion National Park to do some hiking for the weekend.  They told Dustin and Sarah, so they came down.  Ryan's family was running a really good deal on their hotel rates to try to get people back to Springdale since the Covid shut down.  We all got hotel rooms and we had the most amazing breakfasts at Porter's.  Ryan's family owns it and someone leases it from them.  You get free breakfast vouchers when you stay at the hotel.

We wanted to hike the Narrows, but you had to be there by 6:30 a.m. and we didn't quite make it in time.  They would only allow so many people in since the shuttles weren't running, so we found a couple other hikes to take.  We went out to dinner at Oscar's on Friday night and Saturday night Teisha and Ryan had a big BBQ at their house and everyone swam and then played games in the yard.  What a fun filled weekend with our kids and my brother's family.

Dustin's dog Klay even made the trip.
