Football

This year Desert Hills had so many 8th graders try out for football that they had to set up 3 teams.  There were 66 boys wanting to play.  Jayden didn't end up on the A team like he has been the past 3 years, so he has a different set of coaches and a few different kids on his team.  I have been really impressed with the coaching staff and how positive they are.  The coaches grandpa at age 90 helps coach.  He used to coach at Dixie State college.  He is the oldest active football coach in the world.  Jaydens team scrimmaged the C team the other night, so Jayden and his team got to wear the bright yellow jerseys.  Jayden is #10 again and thats my favorite number!  Jayden plays cornerback and back up quarterback this year.  Tonight he got 2 pick 6's and a touchdown pass.
