Las Vegas Bowl - BYU Cougars vs Utah Utes

Our son in-law Ryan's dad is BYU alumni, so he always buys season tickets to each BYU home game.  He drives up to Provo to watch each game.  He got tickets to the Vegas Bowl and had 3 extra's so he invited me, Jayson, and Jayden.  We had such a good time.  The game was awful the first half, but then BYU came out at half ready to play and it was pretty exciting the second half.  The cougars actually almost won,  but were down by one touchdown.  The weather was so beautiful and after the game we all went out to eat at Claim Jumpers in Henderson.  It has become one of my favorite places to eat.  Then Ryan's parents and sister headed home and Ryan and Teisha got in with us and we headed to the mall to do some Christmas shopping.  We got home at 1 a..m., but what a fun filled day.
On the way to Vegas the Gorge was one
lane and lots of traffic.  Luckily we left
early and just missed the bumper to bumper
traffic that was at a stand still.
