Dustin And Sarah's Wedding

The morning of the wedding was busily spent trying to set up tables and chairs and decorate.  Unfortunately, it was 91 degrees outside and Sarah's decorations had candles on the tables.  The candles instantly started melting, so we had to move them inside the pool house.  The grounds were so beautiful and the weather was perfect.  I had been really nervous about having an outdoor wedding and reception even though the weather is usually always beautiful. We rarely get rain, but in the spring we do get some wind.  I had been watching the weather for the past two weeks and had seen high wind and 70% rain and knew we were in trouble.  Sure enough right before the wedding the wind kicked up.  We barely made it through the wedding and pictures and the rain started and it rained hard for two hours, which is really rare for St. George.  Needless to say everyone and everything was soaked.  We didn't end up dancing and the cake was cut under the patio awning.  Lots of people got donuts and the rest were soaked and the taco truck only served food for about 30 minutes and the chips and everything were wet.  It was sad because it was so beautiful, but also kind of nice because it was all over quickly.  Lots of people didn't come though and I totally understood.  We had a little more work cleaning up because the whole pool house had to be moped and the wind had blown trash around.  I wasn't able to get many pictures before the ceremony and none after because of the weather, so I was bummed.  At least the wedding was rain free and that was the most important part.  I know have a new daughter to love and I'm so happy for Dustin.  This is the happiest I have ever seen him.  It seems he has found his soulmate and that is really what this life is all about.
