Christmas Plans Change

I have spent all of my life at home for Christmas until moving to Utah. Two years ago we went to Lovell for Christmas and last year we all flew to Seattle to spend the holidays with Jayson's sisters family. This year we planned to stay home because it is hard to have Christmas away from home. My grandpa Mayes passed away Monday and his funeral will be Saturday, so we are heading out early Friday morning for Lovell. We figure since Christmas is next week we might as well stay. The weather has been really bad and so we are worried about the roads and the girls have to take all their finals today and tomorrow. Grandpa made it to 85 and that was his goal. It is a blessing because he has been suffering with cancer on and off for a few years. He will be missed, but he is in a better place.

We will miss you, but I am glad your job is flexible to work with you. Drive safe. It was nice to see the pictures of you grandpa from this summer. Nice memories.
