Kona

Today we spent the day on the other side of Hilo on the big island of Hawaii.  We walked all around downtown Kona and bought some souvenirs for our kids.  We ate lunch in a fish restaurant that was ranked #1 in 2015.  We weren't that impressed with the calamari and shrimp.  Then we caught the trolley and rode all around to the different shopping and and resort locations.  Kona is also beautiful and I really liked it a lot.  It would be a fun place to stay.  We both got henna tattoo's.  I love tattoo's on feet, so when we went to Mexico I got a henna and loved it.  I was sad that it washed off in 3 weeks.  I talked Jayson into getting one too.  After a day of fun, it was back to the ship.  Same story.  Eating and we tried to go to the theater, but every night it's old school singing and dancing.  Not our thing.  Now if it would have been 80's that would be a different story, but it's more like 50's and 60's stuff.  Not a fan.

I love the Hawaii state flower!

Our ship couldn't dock in Kona, so we had to ride tender's
in to the doc.  I hate tender's.  I don't like being enclosed and
because of my motion sickness I'm not a fan.

Ready for dinner.
