Tour In Hilo To The Volcano

Another fun day meeting people and a wonderful tour guide.  We drove all around in a shuttle and saw some beautiful places.  We stopped at the beach to see sea turtles, but the tide was too high so they weren't there.  We did see a muskrat though.  We also drove to a spot where we hiked 5 miles to a volcano and saw volcanic rock.  We went to a museum and saw a beautiful, huge waterfall.  We learned a lot about different native foods and how they fish with spears and kayak for sport.  It was another fun filled day.  We were exhausted so we got on the ship and ate and went to bed.  We must be getting old because we are always ready for bed early.  Part of that could be the 4 hour difference in time.  Another rocky night on the ship.  The seas are sure rough around the islands.  I didn't sleep well again because of all the movement.
