It's Hard To Watch People You Love Suffer

My parents have some good friends that I grew up spending major holidays and all our birthdays with.  Dean and Judy Wolvington have been like second parents to me.  When we were in Lovell in October I went to Dean's office to visit him and he didn't quite seem himself.  He didn't say a whole lot and looked pale and tired.  The next Monday he had a seizure and ended up being taken to Billings, MT for tests.  They sent him home Friday, unsure of what was wrong.  Friday night he had another seizure and on Saturday he was flown to Salt Lake, UT.  He has been at the University hospital since October 24th.  He started with one tumor or lesion in his head and now he has many and they are growing fast.  He is unable to talk and has constant seizures.  I have been so sad and worried.  Friday my friend Kim Jameson and I drove up to Salt Lake to visit the Wolvignton's.  Kim has also been a friend with Wolvington's and my parents forever.  Poor Judy is tired and worried.  She cried and was so thankful to see us and spend the day with her.  Dean gave us both a big hug and squeeze my hand.  We got him to laugh a few times and he knew who we were, he just can't talk.  They have no clue what is wrong with him.  All his tests keep coming back normal.  I'm afraid I will be making another trip to Lovell soon and it won't be a happy occasion.  I don't like getting older and seeing people that I have known and loved forever getting old and passing away.
Kim & Judy

I sure love this lady

Kim is Judy's daughter and grew
up as my little sister.  I haven't seen her
forever and it was so good to see her!
She is head of nurses at Primary Children's
Hospital in Salt Lake.  I'm very proud of her!

We were also able to see and spend time with some family
members of the Welch family from Lovell.  I haven't
seen them in years.  We also saw Dr. and Mrs Welch and I
saw a school mate that I grew up with and was good friends with,
Cameron Welch.  It was so good to see him.  I wish I had
gotten a picture with him.  His oldest sister was having
surgery on a malignant brain tumor.
(Judy Wolvington, Jennifer Welch, Me, Jaki Welch,
Kim Jameson, and John Winterholler also from Lovell)

Glad you got to see the Wolvington's! That's my Uncle John Winterholler though, not my Uncle Bert :)

THIS IS WHERE OUR STORY BEGINS
